The COSMED Fitmate PRO was designed to break schemes with traditional Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Testing and proposes a new approach for the measurement of Oxygen consumption both in clinical and sport exercise.

The Fitmate PRO is a desktop-sized device with a large LCD screen and inbuilt printer that allows the user to perform tests without a computer. The Fitmate PRO manages the data, tests and stores all the information inside its internal memory.

The Fitmate PRO calculates VO2max, Sub-max VO2, Resting Energy Expenditure (REE) & Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR); plus additional features like the calculation of Training Zones (based on the relationship between VO2 and HR) and a complete Fitness/Nutritional Assessment and Exercise Prescription programme based on ACSM guidelines.
