This measurement allows coaches and athletes to assess athlete endurance levels, devise optimum training programs, avoid overtraining, and use metabolic information to help set target heart rate zones.

The lactate strips require only 0.2 µl of capillary blood and provide results in 10 seconds. Lactate Scout Sport can store up to 500 results and also connects with Bluetooth® enabled heart rate monitors. It also features a stopwatch function to help analyze performance.
