Technical Specifications
Technical Specifications

  • Compliance: Independently verified and complies with the requirements of AS/NZS 4760:2019.
  • Buffered Solution: The integrated buffer solution aids recovery by allowing easy migration of sticky THC compounds (the active component in Cannabis) and other drugs through the test strip. The buffer solution is also used to inhibit bacterial growth, prolonging the shelf life.
  • All-in-One Design: Collect samples and read results from the same device. Intuitive to use and no need for shaking, squeezing, or pressing. It gives reliable results without puzzling pieces together or positioning restrictions.
  • Sample Sufficiency Indicator: Takes guesswork out of collecting enough saliva and having to repeat saliva collection steps. The blue sample sufficiency indicator will let the user know when there is enough saliva to render accurate results.
  • Fast Results: The patented collection pad and integrated buffer ensures fast and simple sample collection, small sample volume (0.2ml), and rapid read time of 3-5 minutes.
  • Eliminates the “Dry Mouth” Issue: The collection pad design for active collection with small sample volumes can reduce the impact of the “Dry Mouth” issue, a commonly reported difficulty in the harsh workplace testing environment of Australia.
  • Long Shelf Life: 24-month shelf life

  • Cut-off Levels:
  • Amphetamine (AMP) 50ng/ml
  • Opiates (OPI) 50ng/ml

  • Amphetamines: Detects the presence of amphetamines, including ecstasy.
  • Opiates: Screens for the presence of opiates, including heroin and morphine.
  • Methamphetamine: Identifies the use of methamphetamine, commonly known as meth.
  • Cocaine: Detects cocaine metabolites in the saliva sample.
  • Oxycodone: Screens for the use of Oxycodone, a semi-synthetic opioid.

  1. Do not eat or drink within 15 minutes before testing.
  2. Start by removing the test kit from the packaging. This should be used as soon as possible once opened.
  3. Collect the saliva sample by inserting the collection pad end of the device into the mouth. Swab around the gums, inside the cheeks, and under the tongue.
  4. Verify sample sufficiency by checking if the blue line at the bottom left window has disappeared or moven up.
  5. Peel the cover of the reagent cap and place the collection pad end of the device into the cap. It should click.
  6. Place the test device on a flat surface and wait for 3 minutes.
  7. Read the drug test results. Do not interpret results after 10 minutes.
  8. Check if all control (C) lines are formed to ensure the proper functioning of the test device. The test is invalid if there is no line.
  9. Check the test region for lines next to the drug name. If all lines are visible, it is negative.
  10. If all lines aren’t visible, re-read the results at the 5-minute mark. A missing line next to the drug name indicates a positive result.
